RINGING ROCKS: WHY DO THEY RING?
Have you ever heard of the ringing rocks in Butte, Montana? It's a real thing! The rocks, when hit with a hammer, make a ringing sound, and how high the ring is depends on what rock you hit. So why do the rocks ring? What's going on with these hunks of mineral? Is it the region or the rock itself?
